Who obtain the benefit from renewable energy generation ? The problem of global warming will be solved if renewable energy promote?

At the latest citizen renewable energy seminar on 20th Oct, participants asked these questions. Who obtain the benefit from renewable energy generation ? If renewable energy promote, global warming problem will be solved?

Promoting renewable energy is for replace fossil fuel, which is helpful to CO2 emission reduction. CO2 emission reduction may prevent global warming, which can help us to remain a beautiful environment to next generation. This is the goal of sustainability. Thus, the beneficiaries are all the creatures on this planet in principle. 

However in Japan, the construction of renewable energy generation plants had destroyed around 10,000 ha farmland until 2018 (data is from Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries), on the other hand, solar power generation plants had destroyed forest beyond 9,000 ha until 2017. Power generation companies killed the creatures lived on farmland and in forest, then built solar power generation plants for high profit from FIT. It is really difficult to say these plants are friendly to our environment. In these cases, who obtain the benefit from renewable energy generation? 

The problem of global warming will be solved if renewable energy promote? At least in Japan, we cannot say yes. Recently, almost every country has draw attention to reduce CO2 emission. But we also need to take notice of ecosystem's capacity of CO2 absorption. As in Japan, constructing renewable energy power generation plants can help us to reduce CO2 emission, but how about the ecosystem's capacity of CO2 absorption that we lost from farmland and forest exploitation?
