Ontake Shrine (Satomiya in Otaki Village) and Shrine Cafe

Ontake Shrine "Satomiya" at the first station of Ontake Mountain (we talked about it at the blog "Ontake faith and Ontake Shrine"), attract lots of tourists around the country and from oversea every year. Visitors need to climb 451 steps from the gate to inner shrine.

Visitors can know how many steps they need to climb, when they are on the way to inner shrine.

The scene near the inner shrine is really good. The water flows out from rocks. 

The water flowed out from rocks is directly. It is regarded as one of the greatest springs in Nagano. Visitors can have tasty water and have a rest here. The inner shrine is on the right side of spring.

On the way from the gate to inner shrine, there is a cafe called "Shrine Cafe", it is a cafe new opened in this month. 

We enjoyed the sweets called "zenzai" in Japanese. It is made of red beans and rice cake. It is really wonderful to enjoy sweets and beautiful mountain scene around the restaurant.
